Routes 19, 98 and 27 Alt pass through Andrews as a four-lane highway, connecting Chiefland and Fanning Springs.

The Andrews Wildlife Management Area is located west of the community.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the Andrews CDP has a total area of 5.4 square miles (14.0 km2), all land.
