Antoon Van Ysendyck (13 January 1801, Antwerp – 14 October 1875, Brussels) was a Belgian painter in the Romantic style.
His father, Adrien-François Van Ysendyck, was a fisherman, originally from Bruges.
In 1816, he began his studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, and became a student of Mattheus Ignatius van Bree in 1818.
In 1822, he travelled throughout the Netherlands and, in 1823, received an award at the Prix de Rome competition.
