Apantesis ursina is a moth of the family Erebidae.

It is found on the Channel Islands off the coast of southern California and in mainland south-western California from Kern County south to San Diego County.

The ground colour of the forewings is dark brown with buff to yellowish-buff bands.

The hindwings are pale pink to orange-pink with a black pattern.

Adults are generally on wing from mid September to early October, but there are some records from mid August to early February.
