Atanasoff Nunatak

The peak is “named in honour of the Bulgarian American John Atanasoff (1903–1995) who constructed the first electronic digital computer”.

[1] The peak is located at 62°36′54″S 60°06′57″W / 62.61500°S 60.11583°W / -62.61500; -60.11583 which is next east of Pirdop Gate, 3.32 km (2.06 mi) northeast of Kuzman Knoll, 1.18 km (0.73 mi) east-northeast of Maritsa Peak, 4.44 km (2.76 mi) east of Mount Bowles, 2.41 km (1.50 mi) southeast of Melnik Peak, 1.68 km (1.04 mi) south of Sliven Peak, 6.86 km (4.26 mi) north-northwest of Great Needle Peak (Falsa Aguja Peak) and 5.37 km (3.34 mi) north of Levski Peak (Antarctica).
