Augusta is a village in Kalamazoo County in the U.S. state of Michigan.
Kalamazoo is an additional ten miles (16 km) west of Galesburg.
Fort Custer Recreation Area is immediately south of the village on the east side of the Kalamazoo River.

In 1951, members of the community, along with those from neighboring Galesburg, formed a joint public school district.
