Bayshore is a census-designated place (CDP) in New Hanover County, North Carolina, United States.

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 2,512 people, 967 households, and 772 families residing in the CDP.

There were 1,058 housing units at an average density of 295.0 per square mile (113.9/km2).

The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.54% White, 1.91% African American, 0.32% Native American, 0.56% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.20% from other races, and 0.44% from two or more races.

16.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
