Wrightsboro is a census-designated place (CDP) in New Hanover County, North Carolina, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 10.7 square miles (28 km2), all land.

As of the 2020 United States census, there were 5,526 people, 1,777 households, and 1,105 families residing in the CDP.

At the 2000 census,[3] there were 4,496 people, 1,777 households and 1,284 families residing in the CDP.

23.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
