Bendena is a census-designated place (CDP) in Doniphan County, Kansas, United States.

It was then named for the sweetheart of the first telegraph operator at the Chicago, Kansas and Nebraska railroad station.

[6] Bendena is located southwest of the center of Doniphan County, along highway K-20.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the CDP has an area of 1.53 square miles (3.96 km2), all land.

The 2020 United States census counted 117 people, 52 households, and 34 families in Bendena.
