Bijoy Ullas

Bijoy Ullas (Bengali: বিজয় উল্লাস) is a sculpture related to the Bangladesh Liberation War located in Kushtia.

Later, engineer Rabiul Hussain provided the design of the present sculpture and sculptor Mahabub Jamil Shamim started the construction work accordingly.

After two years of construction, the then chairman of Kushtia Municipality Anwar Ali opened the sculpture to the general public on March 19, 1997.

Lalon's devotees and followers are busy dancing and singing to the tune of Ektara, Dotara, Dhol and Flute .

Various traditions of village-Bangla, including the liberation war, have been highlighted on the lower three sides of the stage or altar through the fixed images of marble stones.
