Bjarne Bogen

Bjarne Bogen (born 18 January 1951) is a Norwegian immunologist, inventor and physician.

[1] In 1984, at the University of Tromsø he defended his PhD thesis entitled "Murine Th and B Lymphocyte Recognition of Isologous Immunoglobulin".

[1] In 1991, he was authorized as a specialist in clinical immunology, and has since 1995 had a part-time position as a senior consultant at the Oslo University Hospital.

Vaccibodies have been developed as preclinical DNA vaccines for infectious diseases such as influenza as well as for different types of cancers.

During the last 30 years, Bogen has given lectures for medical students and physicians in basic and clinical immunology.
