Bloomer Township, Michigan

It is about 20 miles (32 km) east of Greenville, Montcalm County's largest city.

The Carson City Correctional Facility, with a capacity for 2,526 prisoners,[6] is in the eastern part of the township.

[1] Fish Creek, a tributary of the Maple River and part of the Grand River watershed, flows north to south across the east side of the township.

[1] As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 3,039 people, 487 households, and 393 families residing in the township.

16.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
