Evergreen Township, Montcalm County, Michigan

Part of the village of Sheridan is in the southwest corner of the township.

[7] The township is drained by Fish Creek, a tributary of the Maple River and part of the Grand River watershed leading to Lake Michigan.

As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 2,922 people, 1,120 households, and 822 families residing in the township.

There were 1,327 housing units at an average density of 38.3 per square mile (14.8/km2).

21.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
