Robert Bennet (23 July 1879 – 9 April 1962)[1][2] was a New Zealand rugby union player who represented the All Blacks in 1905.
[3][4] Bennet played for the Alhambra club and appeared for the Otago province 36 times in his career.
[3] He played just once for the New Zealand national side in the test match against Australia in 1905.
His selection was aided by the fact that the Original All Blacks had left the country and were unavailable.
[2][6] He died in Dunedin in 1962 and was buried at Andersons Bay Cemetery.
