Bradford is a town in Steuben County, New York, United States.
[2] The town is named after Major Robert Bradford, and is located in the northeastern section of the county, north of Corning.
The first settler was Daniel Taylor (1775 - December 3, 1851), who was interred in Sonora, N.Y. cemetery.
A part of Lamoka Lake, called Mill Pond, is within the eastern town line.
21.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 8.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
