CIWN-FM is a community radio station in Mount Forest, Ontario, Canada, which broadcasts at 88.7 MHz with an effective radiated power of 1,648 watts (non-directional antenna with an effective height of antenna above average terrain of 73.1 metres).
Owned by Saugeen Community Radio,[1] was granted approval by the CRTC on September 17, 2013.
[2] Signal testing began in August 2015 and the station officially went live with music and announcers on November 23, 2015.
The River moved to their current location 248 Main Street N Mount Forest in early 2017.
In May 2019, The River hosted a twenty-four Radio-thon in order to raise money to construct a splash pad in Mount Forest.
