The only concentrated settlements are in two unincorporated communities: According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 21.3 square miles (55.2 km2), of which 21.3 square miles (55.1 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km2), or 0.20%, is water.

There were 274 households, out of which 42.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.1% were married couples living together, 6.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.2% were non-families.
