Cantuaria orepukiensis

Cantuaria orepukiensis is a species of trapdoor spider endemic to New Zealand.

[1] This species was described in 1968 by Ray Forster from male and female specimens collected in Southland.

The abdomen with reddish brown pattern dorsally.

The colours are similar to males but with more distinct abdominal patterns.

[1] Under the New Zealand Threat Classification System, this species is listed as Naturally Uncommon with the qualifiers of "Data Poor: Size" and "Data Poor: Trend".
