The rostrum is curved upwards and possesses teeth on its upper and lower sides.

The telson, located at the end of the abdomen, is longer than it is wide and bears spines and spinules.

The uropodal diaeresis, located at the rear end of the organism, possesses movable spinules.

[4] Caridina sarasinorum is an endemic species to Lake Poso, situated exclusively in Sulawesi, Indonesia.
