Charles Emory Patton

Charles Emory Patton (July 5, 1859 – December 15, 1937) was a U.S. Representative from the state of Pennsylvania.

He graduated from Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pennsylvania in 1878 and engaged in the lumber business.

He was appointed secretary of agriculture for the State of Pennsylvania October 15, 1915, and served in this capacity until January 22, 1920.

[6][7] He retired to a farm near West Grove, Pennsylvania and resumed his agricultural work.

[8] Patton died on his estate, at the age of seventy-eight, and was interred in Oak Hill Cemetery in Curwensville.
