Clark Botanic Garden

The garden, designed by garden designer Alice Recknagel Ireys,[1] was established in 1969 on the former estate of Grenville Clark, an attorney, writer, and advisor to President Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

There are two ponds and a small gift shop on the grounds, as well as a community gardening area.

The garden is now owned by the Town of North Hempstead and operated by a non-profit organization.

Although the Clark Botanic Garden uses an Albertson mailing address, it is located within the boundaries of the adjacent hamlet, Roslyn Heights.
