The drink was originally produced exclusively for New Zealand, and was later expanded.

On 26 October 2017, Coca-Cola Amatil announced that the drink would return to New Zealand for the 2017-2018 summer season.

A similar variant, Coca-Cola California Raspberry, is sold in the United States.

In addition to the standard variety, a Diet Coke Raspberry variant was also produced.

In August 2018, Coca-Cola Zero Sugar Raspberry was released in Finland and Norway, this flavor was further launched in the UK in January 2019, and later expanded to Denmark (until being replaced with Lemon Zero Sugar), In 600ml bottles in Taiwan, Sweden, the Netherlands and Belgium, and in Australia in 2023.
