Cross Mountain is a ghost town in Moffat County, in the U.S. state of Colorado.
The Cross Mountain post office opened on July 16, 1919, and closed on November 15, 1943.
[1] The town got its name from the nearby mesa, also named Cross Mountain.
[2] The mesa is contained within a wilderness study area and is owned by the Bureau of Land Management.
