Cukang Taneuh, which means Soil Bridge in Sundanese, is a canyon located in Pangandaran, West Java, Indonesia.
The canyon was formed over millions of years by the Cijulang River,[3] which is flanked by two rocky cliffs with trees above it.
The journey of 3 km to the entrance of Cukang Taneuh takes approximately 30 – 45 minutes.
[citation needed] The entrance to the canyon is shaped like a cave, which opens up revealing a river between two cliffs.
The canyon also supports recreational activities such as body rafting, climbing, swimming, boating, and fishing.
