Date and time notation in Mongolia

Cyrillic characters that mean year, month, and day are often used as separators too.

Since the characters clearly label the date, the year may be abbreviated to two digits when this format is used.

Using the example: пүрэв (pürev), 2017 (Khoyor myanga doloon) оны (ony) 8 (Naiman) сарын (saryn) 10 (Арван).

Using the example: пүрэв (pürev), 2017 (Khoyor myanga doloon) оны (ony) 8 (Naiman) сарын (saryn) 10 дахь (Arvan dakhi).

[1] The first day of the week is Sunday (e.g., "08-06 долоо хоног") are not often used, but only used in a few traditional calendars.
