Deepstep is a town in Washington County, Georgia, United States.
A post office called Deepstep was established in 1886.
[6] The Georgia General Assembly incorporated the place in 1900 as the "Town of Deepstep".
[9] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.88 square miles (2.3 km2), of which 0.873 square miles (2.26 km2) is land and 0.07 square miles (0.18 km2) (2.53%) is water.
As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 132 people, 54 households, and 40 families residing in the town.
