The original Denza X was first launched in Guangzhou Auto Show 2019 by Denza, originally a joint venture between Chinese automaker BYD Auto and German luxury car brand Mercedes-Benz.
The concept version is 7-seat crossover SUV based on the second generation BYD Tang.
The all-electric Denza X is set to have a range of 500 kilometres (311 mi) and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) could be done in less than 5 seconds.
[2] The production Denza X was launched in two versions just as planned, including an all-electric and a plug-in hybrid (PHEV).
[3] However, the car did not live up to the expectations placed in it,[4] gaining little popularity and disappearing from the market after 2 years of production at the end of 2021.
