Dewan Farooque Motors

Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (Urdu: دیوان فاروق موٹرز) is a Pakistani automobile importer and manufacturer based in Karachi.

[2] This followed an earlier introduction of Kia cars in 1994 by Naya Daur Motors, which reportedly collected around Rs 800 million in booking fees from approximately 16,000 customers but delivered only a limited number of vehicles before its collapse.

On 19 January 2018, Dewan Farooque Motors announced it has received approval for its Brownfield plant from the Engineering Development Board and is expected to resume vehicle production from February 2018.

On February 25, 2018 Dewan launched a cargo pickup truck under the popular Shehzore nameplate in collaboration with Daehan Motors (Vietnam).

[7] In May 2024, Dewan Farooque announced plans to launch a cargo pickup truck under the popular Shehzore nameplate in collaboration with Kia Motor Corporation.
