Dihydrobiopterin (BH2) is a pteridine compound produced in the synthesis of L-DOPA, dopamine, serotonin, norepinephrine and epinephrine.

It is restored to the required cofactor tetrahydrobiopterin by dihydrobiopterin reductase.
