Doris pseudoargus is a species of sea slug, a dorid nudibranch, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Dorididae.
A neotype was designated in 2002 based on a specimen from Locmariaquer, Atlantic coast of France.
[4] It can be found on the lower shore, and offshore to 300 m.[5] Doris pseudoargus can reach 120 mm in length.
The mantle is variously mottled and blotched with yellow, green, brown, and red and coarsely tuberculate.
[5] Doris pseudoargus mainly feeds on the sponge Halichondria panicea.
