Dustin has approximately 2,200 employees and a turnover of 23.6 billion Swedish kronor in the fiscal year of 2022/2023.
Dustin was founded by the couple Bo and Ulla Lundevall in 1984 as a side business in a zoo shop in the Stockholm suburb Farsta selling computer accessories such as colored diskettes via mail order.
Dustin was acquired in 2006 by the risk capital company Altor Equity Partners.
[2] In 2004, the subsidiary company Dustin Home was founded, which is aimed at private individuals.
In 2018 and 2022, Dustin expanded to the Netherlands and Belgium through the acquisition of Vincere Groep and Centralpoint, respectively.
