Newton is a town in Manitowoc County, Wisconsin, United States.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 2,241 people, 795 households, and 631 families residing in the town.

There were 850 housing units at an average density of 24.9 per square mile (9.6/km2).

17.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
