Manitowoc Rapids, Wisconsin

Branch is an unincorporated community located north of US 10 along the river of the same name in between Whitelaw and I-43.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 2,520 people, 809 households, and 669 families residing in the town.

There were 822 housing units at an average density of 30.0 per square mile (11.6/km2).

There were 809 households, out of which 34.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 76.5% were married couples living together, 3.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 17.3% were non-families.

14.1% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
