Eagle Mountain is a former census-designated place (CDP) in Tarrant County, Texas, United States.

Eagle Mountain Lake is located to the east of the community.

As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 6,599 people, 2,596 households, and 2,004 families residing in the CDP.

There were 2,819 housing units at an average density of 126.3 per square mile (48.8/km2).

19.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 4.9% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
