Earl R. Larson

He was an Assistant United States Attorney of the District of Minnesota from 1940 to 1942.

He was a trial attorney of the United States Department of Justice in 1943.

He was in the United States Navy during World War II, from 1943 to 1946.

[1] Larson was nominated by President John F. Kennedy on July 24, 1961, to a seat on the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota vacated by Judge Robert C. Bell.

[1] Larson presided over Honeywell, Inc. v. Sperry Rand Corp.[2] He also declared that the Rozelle rule was a violation of antitrust laws in Mackey v. National Football League on December 30, 1975.
