Edward Arthur August (15 May 1860[1] – 31 December 1935[2]) was a politician in Manitoba, Canada.
He served in the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba from 1915 to 1922, as a member of the Liberal Party.
In the 1907 election, he contested the provincial riding of Dufferin against Conservative Premier Rodmond Roblin.
In the legislature, he served as a backbench supporter of Tobias Norris's ministry.
August was re-elected,[1] defeating Conservative candidate Alexander Morrison by 77 votes.
