Edward William Clark

Edward William Clark (born November 30, 1946) is an American prelate of the Catholic Church.

[3] He attended Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, earning a Master of Education degree in 1973.

[2] Returning to Southern California, Clark served as coordinator of religious instruction for secondary schools from 1988 to 1990, and was named president of St. John's Seminary College in 1994.

He received his episcopal consecration on March 25, 2001, from Cardinal Roger Mahony, with Archbishops William Levada and Justin Rigali serving as co-consecrators.

[5] Pope Francis accepted Clark's letter of resignation as auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles on February 15, 2022.
