[3] Blanco Road itself continues under Comal County maintenance to an intersection with SH 46 in Bulverde.

[4][1] FM 2696 was designated on March 22, 1961, from Loop 410 (now Interstate 410) northward 8.6 miles (13.8 km) to the Camp Bullis Entrance.
