Feralia jocosa

Feralia jocosa, the jocose sallow or the joker moth,[1] is a moth of the family Noctuidae.

It is found from the northeastern parts of the United States south to Maryland and Ohio, north to Newfoundland and west across the boreal forest to coastal British Columbia.

In the lower mainland and Vancouver Island the species is replaced by Feralia deceptiva.

The moth flies from April to June depending on the location.

The larvae feed on Pinus species.
