Field hockey competitions at the 2023 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile were scheduled to be held from 25 October to 4 November 2023.

[1] It was the fifteenth edition of the field hockey event at the Pan American Games.

A total of eight men's and eight women's teams (each consisting up to 16 athletes each) competed in each tournament.

[2] The games were played at the Field Hockey Training Center, located in the National Stadium Park cluster in Santiago.

If the Canada and/or the United States have not qualified still, a playoff between the nations and the third ranked at the Pan American Cups will take place.
