Originally Flathead County High School is offers an International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Flathead High school was founded in the late 1890s.

Its original name was Flathead County High School.

[3] Flathead became the first IB school in the state of Montana on 16 February 2004 and is part of the IB North American region.
