Geoffrey James Harwood Moon OBE (2 April 1915 – 13 March 2009) was a New Zealand naturalist, ornithologist, conservationist, veterinary surgeon and photographer.
Moon was the patron of the Wingspan Birds of Prey Trust[1] and the Photographic Society of New Zealand.
Moon was born in China where his English parents were living while his father worked in a managerial position for Shell Oil.
In the 1994 Queen's Birthday Honours, he was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire, for services to the veterinary profession and photography.
