The organisation was created as a result of a merger between Excel Esports and Giants Gaming in December 2023.

Prior to the merger, Excel Esports was known for its LEC roster, while Giants Gaming was a partner team for the VCT EMEA in Valorant.

The organization kept all of its employees, and maintained regional headquarters in both London, United Kingdom, and Málaga, Spain, with competitive performance center located in Berlin, Germany.

JRJ Group, which obtained a majority stake in Excel in 2018 along with Toms Capital, retained its position as the controlling shareholder in the newly formed organisation.
