Girard is a town in Burke County, Georgia, United States.
It is part of the Augusta, Georgia metropolitan area.
[5] According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 3.2 square miles (8.3 km2), of which 3.2 square miles (8.2 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 km2), or 1.20%, is water.
[6] Girard is located near the South Carolina state line on State Highway 23.
At the 2010 census, there were 156 people living in the town.
