Graham Loomes

Graham Loomes (born 5 August 1950) is a British economist and academic, specialising in behavioural economics.

[2] He studied economics at the University of Essex, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in 1970.

[2] After a period as a teacher, he undertook postgraduate studies in economics at Birkbeck College, University of London and graduated with a Master of Science (MSc) degree in 1978.

[1] In 1978, after completing his master's degree, he joined the University of Newcastle as a research officer in its Department of Economics.

From 1984 to 1988, he was a senior lecturer and director of the graduate program in health economics at the University of York.
