Hamida Khuhro

Hamida Khuhro (13 August 1936 – 12 February 2017)[1] was a Pakistani politician and historian who twice served as Sindh's Minister for Education and also served as a professor of history at the University of Sindh.

[2][3] Hamida Khuhro was born on 13 August 1936 at Larkana, Sindh, British India.

In 1971, when military action was launched in East Pakistan, she was a student at Oxford University.

A section of the press in West Pakistan denounced her for condemning the military action.

She joined the 'Sindh National Alliance' in 1987 and in 1993 became a member of the Pakistan Muslim League.
