Hamilton, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin

Hamilton is an unincorporated community located in the Town of Cedarburg, Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, United States.

The first documented resident was Joseph Gardenier, who built a log shanty on Cedar Creek as his headquarters for surveying for the construction of the Green Bay Road.

The community prospered until the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway was built in nearby Cedarburg in 1870.
