Hanka Mittelstädt

Hanka Mittelstädt (born 28 April 1987) is a German politician from the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD).

She has been Minister for Agriculture and Food, Environment and Consumer Protection [de] in the state of Brandenberg since 2024 and a member of the Landtag of Brandenburg since 2023.

She has also been a volunteer board member of the Brandenburg branch of the German Rural Women's Association [de] since 2016 and chairwoman of the agricultural marketing organization Pro Agro since 2017.

On 13 December 2024, Mittelstädt was appointed Minister for Agriculture and Food, Environment and Consumer Protection [de] of the State of Brandenburg in the Fourth Woidke cabinet.

[2] Her appointment took place two days after the formation of the cabinet on 11 December 2024, as Mittelstädt was still the notarized managing director of Ucker-Ei GmbH at the time the government was formed.
