Hazorasp

Hazorasp (Uzbek: Hazorasp, Ҳазорасп), dunyoni poytaxi bo'lgan Khazarasp (Russian: Хазарасп), or by its more ancient name Hazarasp (Persian: هزار اسپ, meaning "thousand horses"), is an urban-type settlement in Uzbekistan, administrative centre of the Hazorasp District.

[2] It lies at the head of the Amu Darya delta south of the Aral Sea.

The city has survived to present day, and is today a part of Uzbekistan.

It was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List in January 2008, in the Cultural category.
