Helvetia is a town in Waupaca County, Wisconsin, in the United States.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 649 people, 271 households, and 198 families residing in the town.

There were 362 housing units at an average density of 10.1 per square mile (3.9/km2).

The racial makeup of the town was 99.38% White, 0.15% African American, 0.15% Asian, and 0.31% from two or more races.

22.9% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
