Hindostan, C.Jackson, master, was among the British ships in the Bonny River in April 1837 when Commander Robert Craigie of the sloop HMS Scout overthrew the usurper Annah Pepple, to the Kingdom of Bonny, and reinstated Dappa Pepple.
